Beginning as Stolz Frères SA
The manufacture Stolz Frères SA was founded 1891 in Le Locle by the brothers Gustav and Albert Stolz. At the time when the company was founded the small office was on the first floor of a house in the Rue du Marais, later in the Rue de Jardin. The externally supplied watch parts were assembled in small workshops. Initially, the focus was on pendulettes and watch cases. The brand name used was Angelus.
From 1912, the company specialized more on complex watch movements with repetition and on chronographs, which were exported to Germany, Italy and Russia. ...

Ferenczi Balázs vagyok egy nemzetközi angol nyelvű online órás magazin (Fratello Watches) újságíró-szerkesztője. Pár éve írtam egy cikket a Magyar Légierő által az 50es években használt Angelus chronograph órákról. Nem azért mert megkértek rá, hanem mert ez a hobbym. Ez elindította érdeklődésemet a légierő által kiadott egyéb órákra és most ott tartok, hogy egyrészt Németország legnívósabb régi órákkal foglakozó magazinjába a Klassik Uhren Magazinba írok egy cikket a fent említett Angelusok Magyarországhoz fűződő viszonyáról. E mellett tervbe vettem, hogy összegyűjtöm, rendszerezem és kiadom (amennyiben lesz ráérdeklődés) a légierő által használt órákat egy könyv formájában.
Ehhez szeretném kérni a segítségét. Bármi információt, képet morzsát szívesen veszek, amik az órákkal kapcsolatosak. Végeztem kutatást vannak információim de azok vagy nem teljesek vagy igazításra szorulnak. Ezért kérem, aki emlékszik rá mikor, hol, kitől és legfőképp mit kapott keressen meg. Ha esetleg van képe, amin viseli az órát vagy ne adj Isten meg is van neki még az óra az igazán kiemelkedő lenne.
Tudomásom szerint az 50-es években a pilóták Angelus típusú órákat kaptak, majd Certina, Heuer, Seiko és végül már a 2000-es évek elején a Fortis következett.

Certina: Ebből volt talán a legtöbb, fekete illetve fehér számlapra festett külső lünettával készültek. A fekete ami a képen is van a korábbi változat, a fehér pár évvel későbbi.
Certina Lünettás: Ha minden igaz, ilyen piros lünettás órát csak egy évben kaptak helikopteresek a 70-es évek közepe táján talán.

With its watches, the Swiss watchmaker
pays homage to five most important periods in aviation history and the
technological breakthroughs that happened from the 1900s to the present day.
With this particular line of pilot timepieces, Bell & Ross put the stress
on the 1960s era of civil aviation. In that period, Dassault start developing a
small, twin-engine, 10-seat business jet, the Mystère 20. On May 4, 1963 the
craft made its first flight, reaching the immediate commercial success, known
as the Falcon. Dassault still produces high-end jets under this brand – Falcon
7X generation business jets and the 2,250th Falcon.
Bell & Ross created two cool looking
sport timepieces that bear the name of the famous craft. The Vintage Sport Heritage Falcon BR 123 watch offers
basic time-telling features and date, while the BR
126 also features chronograph performances. Both models have vintage brown dials and matching leather straps. The
interesting vintage look is additionally emphasized by the use of sand-colored
hands, numerals and indices. At the 6 o’clock position, each timepiece displays
a Falcon’s outline, while the “50 ans du Falcon” logo appears on the sapphire
crystal case-back. A stainless steel case has the mid-size diameter of 41 mm. It is nicely polished and paired with a black bezel that features
60-minute graduations. The Chrono model comes with the 30-minute scale at the 9
o’clock position, while the small seconds sub-dial takes the 3 o’clock
position. The round date window is placed between 4 and 5 o’clock positions. A convex, anti-reflective sapphire crystal glass protects the dial and contributes to a high legibility of all
indications. Inside the case, there is a
Swiss made self-winding movement which is revealed
through the transparent case-back. Both watches have solid water-resistance of up to 100 meters (330 feet).

George Graham (7 July 1673 – 20 November 1751) was an English clockmaker, inventor, and geophysicist, and a Fellow of the Royal Society.

PATENTED CHRONOGRAPH SYSTEM
The distinctive start and stop lever on the left of the case is the renowned GRAHAM Chronofighter signature which enables to activate the chronograph functions. The system recalls early stopwatches used by World War 2 flying officers which were just large pocket watches strapped over bomber jackets. Instinctive and precise, it is a fail-safe system which does not distract the wearer because the lever on the left of the case is effortlessly reached with the right hand. The thumb, the fastest of all fingers, starts and stops the chronograph. The result is precise timing.
