De. text: OEM-2 okularseitig mit Schaltkonsole:Oberhalb des rechten Okulares ist das runde UV-Filter für die IR-Aufklärungshilfe sowie der kleine Einschwenkhebel zu erkennen.
An der rechten Basisunterseite schimmert zwischen dem Meßhandrad und der Amplitudenverstellung die kleine Höhenkorrekturvorrichtung für den Meßmarkenhöhenfehler hervor.
Die beiden grauen, runden Strukturen direkt oberhalb des Schaltpanelrahmens sind (hier durch die Okularschutzkappen verdeckte) Aufbewahrungsbehälter für etwas Reinigungswatte und eine Ersatzglühlampe, die man am Rändel nach oben aus ihrer Halterung herausziehen kann.
Am rechten Tragarm erkennt man die beiden Fenster und Stellrädchen des Koordinatenrechners. Die schwarze runde Abdeckkappe verschließt die Koordinatenrechnerbeleuchtung.
Die besonderen Prismensysteme der Einblickstutzen sind von Herrn Bechstein entwickelt worden, der ein sehr sensibler Mensch und begnadeter Rechner für optische Systeme gewesen sein soll. Herr Bechstein ist leider verstorben.
Mit diesem sehr nützlichen Teil ist es möglich, das OEM-2 auch auf Mauern oder mit einer von einer Schlosserei zu besorgenden Säule auf dem Boden fest und erschütterungsfrei zu montieren.
So kann man dieses Gerät etwa zu Hause im Dauerbetrieb nutzen, ohne daß das Dreibeinstativ zu viel Platz wegnimmt.
Bei meinem Säulenkopf hätte der untere Rand der Horizontalwinkelverstellung die beiden festen Haltebacken berührt.
Behelfsweise habe ich eine etwa 2 mm starke Kunstsoffscheibe auf die Auflage gelegt, damit die Ringschwalbe des OEM etwas höher liegt.
Eine Berührung wird so vermieden.
Bei dieser Ansicht ist die Bussole hochgeklappt.
Es war übrigens verboten, das Meßgerät am Bussolenarm zu drehen.
Wegen der mit dem Gelenk verbundenen Probleme der Justierhaltigkeit bei den zusammenklappbaren E-Messern beschritt man bei diesem Instrument einen anderen Weg:
Der gesamte optische Teil einschließlich dem Kollimator liegt jetzt in einem T-förmigen starren Aluminiumgehäuse, das mittels Achse in einer Gabel gelagert ist.
Das Gehäuse ist hermetisch abgedichtet (druckdicht!) und mit mehreren Trockenpatronen sowie Öffnungen für ein Trockengerät versehen. Diese Bauform wird im König/Köhler S. 412 ff. beschrieben.
Die konstruktive Besonderheit des Streckenmeßteiles liegt darin, daß der Meßkeil - und damit die Entfernungsmeßmarke - durch einen eingebauten Elektromotor in eine scheinbare "Pendelbewegung" versetzt werden kann, so daß dem Beobachter der Eindruck entsteht, die Meßmarke pendele im Raum. Dieser Mechanismus ist von seinem Entwickler, Herrn Siegfried Hesse, seinerzeit patentiert worden.
Die Meßlinseneinheit wurde nach einem Entwurf von Herrn Blietz ausgeführt.
Der Sinn dieser Konstruktion liegt darin, den um den Faktor 1,7 im Vergleich zum größerbasigen EM-61 größeren Meßfehler zu kompensieren. - Eine sehr interessante und aufwendige konstruktive Lösung, wie sie auch sonst das ganze Gerät verkörpert:
Erstmals ist der Koordinatenrechner kein Zusatzgerät mehr, sondern fester Bestandteil der Gerätestruktur.

Bei Rundblickfernrohren für Geschütze wird deshalb die Drehgeschwindigkeit des Wendeprismas durch ein Differentialgetriebe halbiert. - Daher immer diese auffällige Wulst!
Beim OEM-2 wurde dieses Problem jedoch durch eine besonders aufwendige Berechnung der Prismen gelöst.
Technische Wartung:
Die technische Wartung des OEM-2 erfolgte gem. DV in verschiedenen Stufen.
Zunächst gab es die laufende Durchsicht vor, während und nach der Benutzung.
In einem Intervall von..... folgte die Technische Wartung 1 (TW 1), bei der neben der Vornahme intensiver Reinigungsarbeiten Verlierteile und Zubehör ergänzt wurden.
Wesentlich anspruchsvoller war die TW 2, bei der "unter Garnisonsbedingungen" in optischen Werkstätten der NVA bereits optische Baugruppen getauscht werden konnten.
Das allerdings setzt voraus, daß das OEM-2 mit dem JGOEM-2 (Justiergerät OEM-2) justiert werden kann. Darüberhinausgehende Arbeiten waren Sache der Industrieinstandsetzung beim Hersteller VEB Carl Zeiss Jena.
Für die Truppeninstandsetzungen gab es entsprechend den Stufen genau abgestimmte Ersatzteilsätze (EW-1 und EW-2).
Dazu gehörte eine technische Wartungsvorschrift, die sich aus einem umfangreichen Konvolut technischer Zeichnungen zusammensetzt.

Bei dem OEM-2 (Bezeichnung gem. Dienstvorschrift A 256/1/327: "Optisches Entfernungsmeßgerät 2 - Beschreibung und Nutzung") handelt es sich um ein Raumbildentfernungsmeßgerätunempfindlicher Bauart mit beweglicher Meßmarke. Intern, bei Carl Zeiss Jena, wurde dieses Instrument zeitweise auch als EM-70 bezeichnet. Das OEM-2 wurde im Zeitraum von etwa 1966 bis 1976 in Jena entwickelt. Es ist das Nachfolgeinstrument des EM-61. Die Entwicklungsgruppe für militärische Produkte war zunächst im Stammhaus in Jena untergebracht, wurde dann aber nach Jena-Göschwitz verlegt. Die Mitgliederzahl dieser Entwicklungsgruppe schwankte zwischen 10 und 20 Personen - je nachdem, woran gerade gearbeitet wurde. Maßgeblicher Bearbeiter des OEM-2 war Herr Blietz, der leider an Krebs verstorben ist. Über die genaue Fertigungszahl dieses Instrumentes ist nichts bekannt. Selbst ehemalige Mitarbeiter der Konstruktionsgruppe haben keine Informationen darüber. Aufgrund verschiedener Schätzungen würde ich die je produzierte Stückzahl auf etwa 1000 bis 3000 Stück beziffern. Das OEM-2 wurde in Bulgarien vorgestellt und getestet, dort jedoch - wohl wegen der hohen Kosten - nicht beschafft. Nach neueren Informationen war das OEM-2 neben der NVA definitiv bei den Artilleriebeobachtern der Tschechoslovakischen Armee eingesetzt.
Das OEM-2 diente den Artilleriebeobachtern zur:
- Aufklärung und Beobachtung des Gefechtsfeldes
- Ermittlung der Ziel- und Sprengpunktkoordinaten
- Ermittlung der Trefferlage
- Typisches Einsatzfahrzeug: Die Artilleriebeobachtungsstelle SPW 60 PB.

I've
lusted after both of these items for awhile. Not very useful, but a beautiful
set of opto-mechanical devices that will never be made again. I have an old
Wild Theodolite that I paid a few hundred for (cost about $10,000 new in 1975
dollars) that fits in the same category. The theodolite sits in my garage,
which, given the utility of the OEM-2 or the EM-61, is where these two items would
end up, and $2K is a lot of scratch to just leave in the garage.
Furthermore, the Wild theodolite weighs about 10 pounds in the 'bullet' case
and each of these weighs over 100 pounds! Shipping for either of these monsters
would be over $100. I love the 'backpack' feature for carrying the OEM-2 up
mountains. I'm not sure I could carry that thing up a mountain when I was 20yrs
old -- I can forget it now.

Dieses ist hier oben links zu erkennen. Darunter sollte der rot-weiße Leuchtstab vorhanden sein, der dazu verwendet wurde, mehrere Meßgeräte in der Dunkelheit kenntlich zu machen, um so im Geräteverbund beobachten zu können.
Dazu sind verschiedene Farbfilter (weiß, rot, grün) vorhanden.
In der rechten Seite befinden sich Reinigungs- und Entgiftungsutensilien.
Die graue Tasche an der Schalendecke beinhaltet ein Gerätebegleitheft, in dem jede Ausgabe des Instrumentes an die Truppe und insbesondere der Wartungsstand der Trockenpatronen dokumentiert wurde. Man kann so sehen, ob man ein "gebrauchtes" Gerät hat.
Hier lassen sich auch interessante Informationen zur Gehäusedichtigkeit entnehmen, die individuell an jedem Gerät geprüft wurde.
In der unteren Schale rechts des Gerätes ist die Abdeckplane untergebracht. Sie ist in "Wendebauweise" ausgeführt, so daß die weiße "Innenseite" als Wintertarnung dient.
Gleichzeitig ist die Abdeckplane etwas isoliert um themische Einflüsse (einseitige Sonnenbestrahlung) auf das Meßgerät zu reduzieren.

Damaliger Anschaffungspreis für die NVA: 138.000,-- M (das habe ich allerdings erst gehört - noch nicht gesehen)
Legt man die mehrjährige Entwicklungszeit und die aufwendige Herstellung (sehr viel Handarbeit!) auf die geringe Stückzahl (geschätzte Größenordnung: wenige tausend) um, verwundert das jedoch nicht.
Die Betriebsspannung beträgt 6 V Gleichspannung (Polung unbedingt beachten!). Sie wird mittels Akkumulator, handelsüblicher Batterien oder dem LG/OEM-2bereitgestellt.

"Hajmáskéren 1907-1910 között épült ki az Osztrák-Magyar Monarchia legnagyobb és legreprezentatívabb tüzérségi laktanyája és lőtere. Az 1915-1916-ban, a település legmagasabb pontján felépült nyolcszögletű, sakkbástya alakú víztorony a külső, ún. hadifogolytábor vízellátását szolgálta. A toronyban lévő, egymás fölé helyezett két vasbeton víztartály terhét vasbeton pillérváz hordja, s zárófödéme is vasbeton lemezből készült. A kitöltő téglafalat oldalanként íves záródású ablakok törik át. Az első emeletre a belső fal mentén betonból készült lépcső vezet, a további emeletekre vezető lépcsők vaslemezekből készültek. A sarokpilléreket a harmadik emelet magasságában konzolos külső folyosó köti össze bástyafokos mellvéddel. Ennek sérülései az 1945-1990 közötti időszakból származnak, amikor a teljes épületegyüttes szovjet laktanyaként szolgált. A víztornyot is a szovjet hadsereg működtette utoljára. Manapság, amikor az olcsóbb okostelefonokba is 8-10-12 megapixeles kameramodulokat szerelnek a gyártók – nem is beszélve a szélsőségekről, pl a Sony 48 megapixeles eszközéről – , még a fényképezés iránt kevés affinitással bíró emberek is képben vannak nagyjából a digitális fotók felbontását illetően. Felvetődhet a kérdés, hogy ha a telefonunk borsónyi kamerája és a mögötte lévő szenzor 12 megapixeles (tehát 12 millió képpontból álló) képeket tud rögzíteni, akkor milyen felbontású lehet a szemünk?
Az nyilvánvaló, hogy nem igazán hasonlítható össze a látásunkért felelős érzékszerv a zsebünkben megbújó telefon, vagy egy digitális fényképezőgép képalkotó rendszerével. Ennek fő oka, hogy az emberi látás nem állóképeket rögzít. A szemünk által közvetített látványt az agy folyamatosan dolgozza föl, és a szemünk is folyamatosan mozgásban van, az előttünk lévő tér különböző szeleteit úgymond letapogatva - tehát sokkal inkább lehetne egy nagy látószögű mozgásérzékelős biztonsági kamera élőben streamelt képét analógiául venni. ...

A füzéri vár középkori vár, amely Füzér település közvetlen közelében emelkedő vulkanikus eredetű hegyen áll.
Első írásos említése 1264-ből származik, bár valószínűleg már a tatárjárás előtt állt. A legerősebb feltételezések szerint az Aba nemzetség építtette az Árpád-korban, különlegessége, hogy egyike lehet az első magyarországi magánbirtokú kőváraknak. A 13. században II. András megvette a várat, amely a tatárjárásig a királyi birtoktest részét képezte, majd adományozás útján visszakerült az Abákhoz. A rozgonyi csata után Károly Róbert elkobozta, majd a Báthori, később pedig a Nádasdy családhoz került.
A Vár sorsa innentől kezdve rosszra fordult. A Wesselényi-összeesküvés után a várat elkobozták, majd a császári katonaság felégette és hátrahagyta.
