There are some nice photos of the B52 nav-station here plus a shot of the Kollsman Sextant if your RAM can cope with the megabytes (my 2Gb struggles). https://szextant.blogspot.com/2014/06/102-boeing-b-52h-stratofortress-buff.html However, the real gem is the sixth photograph down which gives an excellent shot of the working , bottom, side of the Astrograph Mk1a along with an air position indicator, the side of what looks like a Mk2 Gee set (or it might be LORAN (they had the same dimensions)), and the Gee aerial tuning unit. One thing’s for certain; it’s definitely not of the nav-station in a B29 as claimed. There’s an ice cream for the first person to say which aircraft’s nav-station it is. DaveP

The US bomber force is destroyed on the ground and the Minuteman missiles in their silos in this highly realistic dramatization filmed with the unprecedented cooperation of the US Air Force. The people shown are the actual men and women of the US Air Force and Navy who would have been targeted. This is a short version of the scenaio used in the 1979 documentary film, FIRST STRIKE, which examined how the Soviet SS-18 missile force together with submarine launched missiles might be used to destroy our strategic forces in a surprise, preemptive attack.

In 2011, she released her 29th studio album, My Heart, which became a UK Top 10 album featuring new material. Among her awards, Day has received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and a Legend Award from the Society of Singers. In 1960, she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress, and in 1989 was given the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement in motion pictures. In 2004, she was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President George W.
